Parish Camp
The annual St. Mary's Parish Camping trip was June 17-19, 2011. It's the best camping trip you'll ever go on. It's only a 45 minute drive to the beautiful Santa Lucia Campground in Big Sur, along a river, amongst the tall trees. Typically 60 or 70 parishioners join the fun of riding inner tubes down the river, hiking, reading on the beach, and then sharing meals together.
Best of all, the organizers bring almost everything. We rent a truck and bring all the food, utensils, cook stoves, plates, cups, drinks, tables, ... everything. All you need to do is sign up, bring a tent and a sleeping bag, and pitch in for cooking and cleaning.
This trip is a wonderful way to relax and get to know your fellow parishioners in a new environment. Here are the forms for 2011: Registration, Information. If these forms don't answer you questions, contact Steve Bruemmer, 333 1914.
